Year after year the results of the Annual Report on Pesticide Residues carried out by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) confirm the high level of safety of food grown in Europe. Nevertheless many consumers remain concerned about pesticide residues. The crop protection industry takes consumers’ concerns about residues in food seriously and has set up a dedicated project to address them.
